Why Water?

Water is the foundation of health, yet people around the world are without this basic life source. As an innovative solutions company AirLess™ wants to do its part to support this overwhelming need.
Every day, 6,000 people on our planet die from water-related illnesses, nearly 2 million each year, and the vast majority of these are young children.

Water is implicated in 80% of all sickness and disease worldwide. Impure water is responsible for 19% of deaths from infection and disease worldwide.

The water crisis is hitting the most vulnerable populations - the world's poor. Half the world - nearly 3 billion people - live in abject poverty on less than US $2 per day. Water-related diseases are killing them at an alarming rate.

Like oil, water is a critical lubricant of the global economy. And as with oil, supplies of water - at least, the clean, easily accessible sort - are coming under enormous strain because of the growing global population. Global water consumption is doubling every 20 years, which has been called an "unsustainable" rate of growth. (Economist, September 2008)

Water, unlike oil, has no substitute.

How To Do It

Conserve Water - Use Less!

Water has become more costly and scarce over the past several years, but most of our habits were formed when water was “cheap” and we were not concerned with conserving. However, today, using less water is wise from both an environmental and budget perspective. Below are additional savings tips for everyday use.

Saving On Water Usage

  • Install low-flow shower heads or get adjustable flow restrictors to put on your shower.
  • Install faucet aerators to restrict flow.
  • If you do not have new low flush toilets, you can reduce the amount of water used by your toilet by implementing several free tricks to waste less water.
  • Repair leaky faucets, shower heads and toilets.
  • Take more showers and fewer baths.
  • Don’t leave the water running when brushing your teeth, shaving, washing dishes, washing hands, rinsing dishes, etc.
  • Restrict the amount of water used with food waste disposers.
  • Do not use running water to defrost food.
  • If you are boiling items like eggs, save the water and use it for your houseplants.
  • You can use less water if you water your yard early in the morning when the water will not be evaporated by the sun.
  • Mulch your beds so they retain moisture and require less water.
  • Make sure any automated sprinkler systems do not go off when it is raining.
  • Cover your pool to reduce evaporation and maintain heat.

Save Money - The Airless Way!

Unlike conventional money saving methods using water conservation strategies, the AirLess™ technology helps you save money by using a revolutionary, patent pending, technology to control the air in water pipes.
